Admitting that Sophie Sputnik, her previous moniker made music that people-pleased, Waltzer seems to be liberated from this burden, her new single 'Lantern', being a fantastic example. It landed alongside a charming animated video that's simple, but effective, directed by Kelton Sears. Gritty bass and electric guitars tangled in delay introduce the track, locked in with the thundering toms.
